LARSON MARKS RACING INVADES IOWA AND WISCONSIN

MIDWEST DOUBLE DUTY: Larson Marks Racing and Shane Stewart head to Iowa and Wisconsin this weekend for two nights of racing with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. On Friday, the team will be competing at West Liberty (Iowa) Raceway and will follow that up with Beaver Dam (Wis.) Raceway on Saturday.

FIRST TIMERS:  Friday will be the first time the World of Outlaws will compete at West Liberty Raceway. The inaugural event will also be Larson Marks Racing and Stewart's first time at the half-mile circuit. The Larson Marks team has been successful in the Hawkeye State, scoring wins at Knoxville Raceway and Crawford County Speedway in Denison.

JIM BOYD MEMORIAL: In the past two trips to Beaver Dam, Stewart has scored two top-10 finishes. In 2015, the Bixby, Okla., native led 11 laps before slipping back to fourth. Last year, Stewart was running in the top-five when the field bottled up and he was collected. He was able to keep the No. 2 rolling and restarted 11th with nine laps remaining. In the closing laps, Stewart climbed back up to finish just outside of the top-five.

GRANITE CITY RECAP: Tuesday night at Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minn., Stewart qualified 15th and finished fifth in his heat race. He took the green-flag from the 15th starting position and was up into the top-10 just after the halfway point of the 30-lap event. In the closing laps, he picked two more positions to finish eighth.

LARSON MARKS RACING OWNERS: Larson Marks Racing is co-owned by NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series (NMECS) driver Kyle Larson and driver/entrepreneur Justin Marks. Marks also owns GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, N.C. Fresh off of his NMECS win at Michigan and two All- Star Circuit of Champions wins, Larson will be at Sonoma Raceway this weekend to compete in the NMECS race.

LARSON MARKS RACING TEAM: The Larson Marks Racing team is led by crew chief Lee Stauffer of York, Penn., with Heath Moyle of Middleburg, Penn., and Dennis Christ of Fredericksburg, Penn.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following Saturday night's race at Beaver Dam Raceway, Larson Marks Racing will be back on track Tuesday, June 27 at The Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill.
