BACK EAST: The Larson Marks Racing team travels back to the east coast this weekend for two nights of racing. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will make the long haul from Calistoga, Calif., to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for Friday night's BeFour the Crowns event and will follow that up with the Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Penn., on Saturday.
BEFOUR THE CROWNS: In 2016, Stewart qualified seventh in flight one of time trials and advanced two positions in his heat race to finish second, transferring into the dash. Stewart started and finished fifth in the six-lap Craftsman Club Dash. After four attempts to start the 30-lap main event, Stewart quickly jumped up to the runner-up position on lap three. He took the lead on lap 10, sliding under the leader in lapped traffic. After a caution with six laps remaining, Stewart regained the lead on the restart and never looked back, capturing his eighth victory of the World of Outlaws season.
COMMONWEALTH CLASH: Last year at the Commonwealth Clash, Stewart qualified sixth and won his heat race, transferring him into the Craftsman Club Dash. He started and finished fifth in both the dash and the 35-lap main event.
WEST COAST WRAP-UP: The Larson Marks team returns from the west coast after a great outing with two quick times, seven top-10s, five podium finishes, and three wins in seven races. The wins came at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Wash., and Silver Dollar Speedway for the Gold Cup Race of Champions.
